The Health & Population Department, Government of Punjab, is seeking dynamic and highly experienced individuals to lead the implementation and oversight of the Punjab Family Planning Program (PFPP), a World Bank-supported initiative. Applications are invited for the roles of Program Director and Additional Program Director on a consultancy basis, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to key provincial health reforms focused on reproductive healthfamily planning services, and population welfare.

These leadership roles are best suited for professionals with strong public health expertise, prior project management experience in donor-funded programs, and a proven ability to manage multisectoral coordination and technical teams.


Positions & Requirements:

1️⃣ Program Director (PPS-12)

  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Education:
    • MBBS or equivalent with a postgraduate degree in Public HealthHealth Administration, or Health Management from an HEC-recognized institution
  • Experience:
    • At least 10 years of documented experience in the public health sector
    • Minimum 2 years in project leadership, preferably in field-based or donor-funded health programs
    • Previous work with population welfare or reproductive health programs is highly desirable
    • Exposure to foreign-assisted projects will be considered a strong asset

2️⃣ Additional Program Director (PPS-11)

  • No. of Posts: 02
  • Education:
    • MBBS / MD with postgraduate qualification in Public HealthHealth EconomicsHealth Management, or a relevant health discipline (recognized by HEC)
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in health program management
    • At least 3 years post-graduation experience in reproductive health, family planning, or public health service delivery
    • Strong background in developing program strategies, policy guidelines, and training materials
    • Familiarity with project planning, execution, and reporting under donor/government frameworks
