The District Entomology Department, under the District Health Authority Rawalpindi, is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the position of Contingent Paid Skilled Staff (Field Worker). This temporary government job plays a frontline role in the ongoing Anti-Dengue Operations being carried out across Rawalpindi District.

25–35 Years

Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Agriculture, Specialization in Entomology Bachelor of Science (B.S.) (Hons.) in Agriculture, Specialization in Entomology — Second Division

✅ Eligibility Criteria:

  • Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Agriculture, Specialization in Entomology Bachelor of Science (B.S.) (Hons.) in Agriculture, Specialization in Entomology — Second Division.
  • 📱 Familiarity with Android smartphones and GPS-based applications
  • 🚶 Ability to work outdoors in varying environmental conditions
  • 📍 Must be a domicile holder of Rawalpindi District
  • 🗂️ Previous experience in public health programs (preferred but not mandatory)
  • 👤 Only candidates with clean service records are eligible

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field visits for larval surveillance in urban and semi-urban areas
  • Use Android-based applications to record inspection data in real time
  • Assist in removing mosquito breeding sites (stagnant water, containers, etc.)
  • Communicate with local households and raise basic awareness
  • Maintain daily activity logs and submit reports to supervisors
  • Adhere to field safety protocols and operational checklists
  • Work in collaboration with entomologists and anti-dengue control teams
