Applications on prescribed proforma are invited from suitable candidates for the following posts on contract & regular basis under the Election Commission of Pakistan through Online Recruitment System and P.O. Box No.1418, GPO, Islamabad.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

a) Digital Media Monitoring:

  • Continuously monitor all major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, etc.).
  • Track emerging narratives, trends, and potential misinformation related to ECP.
  • Develop real-time tracking mechanisms for viral content and emerging ECP discourse.
  • Identify and categorize potential sources of misinformation.

b) Fact-Checking and Verification:

  • Systematically verify claims, statements, and narratives circulating on digital platforms.
  • Cross-reference information with official sources, electoral data, and authenticated records.
  • Prepare detailed fact-checking reports with clear evidence and source citations.
  • Develop rapid response protocols for addressing electoral misinformation.

c) Reporting and Communication:

  • Produce daily and weekly comprehensive reports on digital media trends.
  • Prepare immediate alerts for critical misinformation that may affect electoral integrity.
  • Collaborate with Spokesperson or PRO to develop strategic rebuttals.
  • Maintain a centralized database of verified and disputed claims.

(a) ڈیجیٹل میڈیا مانیٹرنگ:

Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube اور دیگر سوشل میڈیا پلیٹ فارمز کی مستقل نگرانی۔

  • انتخابی کمیشن (ECP) سے متعلق جھوٹے بیانیے، رجحانات اور ممکنہ غلط معلومات کا سراغ لگانا۔
  • وائرل مواد اور ECP سے متعلقہ مباحث پر ریئل ٹائم ٹریکنگ میکانزم تیار کرنا۔
  • غلط معلومات کے ممکنہ ذرائع کی نشاندہی اور درجہ بندی کرنا۔

(b) فیکٹ چیکنگ اور تصدیق:

  • ڈیجیٹل پلیٹ فارمز پر گردش کرنے والے بیانات اور دعووں کی منظم جانچ پڑتال۔
  • سرکاری ذرائع، انتخابی ڈیٹا اور مستند ریکارڈ سے معلومات کی تصدیق۔
  • شواہد اور حوالہ جات کے ساتھ تفصیلی فیکٹ چیکنگ رپورٹس تیار کرنا۔
  • انتخابی غلط معلومات سے نمٹنے کے لیے فوری ردعمل کے پروٹوکول تیار کرنا۔

(c) رپورٹنگ اور مواصلات:

  • ڈیجیٹل میڈیا کے رجحانات پر روزانہ اور ہفتہ وار رپورٹس تیار کرنا۔
  • انتخابی شفافیت کو متاثر کرنے والی غلط معلومات کے فوری انتباہات جاری کرنا۔
  • ترجمان یا PRO کے ساتھ مل کر تزویراتی جوابی بیانیہ تیار کرنا۔
  • تصدیق شدہ اور متنازعہ دعووں کا مرکزی ڈیٹا بیس برقرار رکھنا۔

  1. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given as per Initial Appointment to Civil Posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1993.
  2. Applicants may apply through ECP’s Online Recruitment System by visiting the link www.ecp.gov.pk or jobs.ecp.gov.pk within 20 days of the printing of this advertisement in newspapers.
  3. Applicants who apply through the online recruitment system are also required to submit their applications in hard form.
  4. Hard copy of applications along with CVs and attested copies of CNIC, educational documents, domicile certificate, and experience certificates should reach P.O. Box number 1418 within 30 days of the publication of this advertisement.
  5. Applications received after the cut-off date shall not be entertained.
  6. Only shortlisted candidates meeting the required criteria will be called for a test/interview.
  7. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
  8. The department reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies or cancel the recruitment process of advertised posts partially or totally without assigning any reason(s).
